Not Your Usual Match Three Game

At a glance, Candy Crush Saga might look like your usual match three puzzle game. Swap two candies to form a matching row of at least three, make them disappear, and collect your points. However, the similarities end there. Where most match three games encourage you to act fast, Candy Crush Saga urges you to think carefully. You can take your time, but you need to match strategically; just because you can form a row of three doesn’t always mean you should.

• Complete hundreds of levels that get progressively more challenging.
• Match a great variety of colorful sweets together, including blue lollipop tops, sour lemon drops, raspberry-flavored hard candies, red jellybeans, and more.
• Match four candies together to create a special striped treat. Group it with at least two other candies of the same color and shape to instantaneously clear out an entire row.
• Group two special striped candies together to form a giant candy, which will wipe out three columns and three rows on the spot!
• Match five candies together to create a super multicolored treat. Mix it together with any type of candy to zap out all copies of that candy immediately!

Complete a Variety of Goals

Candy Crush Saga isn’t just about mixing and matching sweets around. You’ll be required to meet all sorts of various objectives that change from one level to the next.

• Achieve the minimum number of points needed to beat the level within as few moves as possible.
• Guide special ingredients down to the bottom of the board.
• Destroy squares that are clogged up with jelly that you can’t otherwise swap gems on.

Candy Crush Saga is the match three game for the thinking player. It takes more than a sharp eye and a twitchy finger to master. You need to play it like a game of chess, planning at least three steps ahead. In this way, it adds a lot of depth and breathes new life into a well-tread genre.
